Deborah Latta, age 101, on January 14, 2014. Formerly of Chestnut Hill, she has most recently been a resident of Cathedral Village. She was the wife of the late Cuthbert H. Latta, Jr. and the mother of the late John Latta, II and the late Mary Latta Gooding. Mrs. Latta is survived by her daughter, Hope L. Bennett of Ambler, 4 grandchildren, Deborah Bradley Clements of Bethesda, MD, Gail C. Redpath of Wyndmoor, PA, Leslie C. Haddow of Erdenheim, PA and J. Hunter Bennett of Washington, DC and 12 great grandchildren. A longtime resident of Society Hill, Mrs. Latta was active on the Board of the Hill-Physick-Keith House and the Modern Club serving as Secretary for many years. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Jan. 25th, 11:30AM at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 630 E. Cathedral Rd., Phila., PA 19128. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 555 North Lane, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
